In our world today we are now seeing our own Spring Awakening with people and cultures that have long been dormant and subdued asserting their right to exist, their right to dream." Adam Price MP

Owain Glyndwr - Doughty Freedom Fighter of Cymru
Today a bronze statue of Owain Glyndwr, the most famous Welsh freedom fighter and patriot, is to be unveiled at Corwen, his birthplace in Denbighshire. This is three days before Owain Glyndwr Day, September 16th, which should be declared a national holiday. Let us now step up the campaign for a national holiday on St David's Day and also on this special day to commemorate our greatest Welsh hero.
