"The Nineteenth century saw a great Springtime of Nations as the revolutions of 1848 saw new countries created the length and breadth of Europe. In our world today we are now seeing our own Spring Awakening with people and cultures that have long been dormant and subdued asserting their right to exist, their right to dream." Adam Price MP

Alan, I know your in Latvia preaching the benefits of NATO withdrawal and socialism to the Letts but .....
I'm a bit worried, there's a picture of some nice Welsh girls in National Costume at the bottom of your blog page and it says that they gave their blood for freedom. When was this? It seems such a shame? I do hope those tall hats didn't contain suicide bombs or anytrhing.
Anyway hope you have a nice holiday and maybe learn something from those newly independent Balts rather than preaching tired old nonsense at them.
Yes, Welsh men, women and children were put to the sword.
Fortunately this does not happen today.
It is a pity that the spirit of the dawning age for Cymru passes you by.
The tired old nonsense you speak of is uttered by the tired old unionists many of whom are in the ranks of the Labour party and include most of the Welsh MPs. Shame on them!
Nonny, stop teasing him. Poor lad takes himself seriously.
Quite right. You can believe it!
"Fortunately this does not happen today."
Might happen in the future though, especially if your ridiculous idea of a free Wales without an army ever came about.
