"The Nineteenth century saw a great Springtime of Nations as the revolutions of 1848 saw new countries created the length and breadth of Europe. In our world today we are now seeing our own Spring Awakening with people and cultures that have long been dormant and subdued asserting their right to exist, their right to dream." Adam Price MP

...and I would like to add.....shouldn't Paxman at least try not to show is contempt for Alex Salmon.....He is after all the first minister of Scotland! If I were a Scot, I would be peeved by it. Paxman really showed he is clueless....putting the words...."nasty English" into SNP mouths. I wonder if Paxman too is a close friend of high ranking Labour politicians like his Scottish co-presenter Kirsty Wark?(sp?)
