Whilever Britain remains constitutionally "United" SNP MPs at Westminster have every right to vote on every issue which affects the United Kingdom or any part of it. Therefore, the SNP should be able to vote on fox hunting in England and in Wales, or on any issue which relates to England or to Wales. They were sent to Westminster to represent the people of Scotland and for the present time these people are citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
If the MPs are blocked from voting on English laws, what is the point of them sitting in parliament? Should they vote only on matters pertaining to Scotland, and nothing more?
By advocating English Votes for English Laws, David Cameron stifles democracy and strengthens the case for federation or independence. Until the three nations of Britain are fully independent and
the unification of Ireland is realised, EVEL has no democratic validity and the whole idea should be discarded.
