Somebody said : " Democracy is the rule of the majority, by and for the majority..... but who wants to be ruled by the majority?"
Democracy does not mean "majority rule". Democracy means that every voice is heard and listened to.
Only a person who has endured the restrictions and sufferings under communist/fascist totalitarian regimes can truly appreciate what it is like to live in a (true) democracy.
