"The Nineteenth century saw a great Springtime of Nations as the revolutions of 1848 saw new countries created the length and breadth of Europe. In our world today we are now seeing our own Spring Awakening with people and cultures that have long been dormant and subdued asserting their right to exist, their right to dream." Adam Price MP

More Window Dressing in the Closing Down Store
No good can come to Wales from the recent appointments of Peter Hain and Glenys Kinnock. They are both pro-Unionist advocates of the status quo and do not represent the future but the past. They are not likely to advance the cause of the Welsh language or the Welsh culture and the local communities. Their appointments have no consequence whatsoever for present needs and future aspirations with regard to community affairs or the progress of devolution. They may thus be regarded as sinecures and mere "window-dressing". It is time for the government to shut up shop.
