Welcome to the Real Wales!

I have certainly stirred up a great deal of controversy and discussion, as evidenced by my stat counter, which yesterday recorded 199 people logging on to my blog. Then Ceredig devoted an entire posting on the extreme positions taken up between myself and my peripatetic adversary who I have now banned forever and exiled to the solitary wilderness of outer Flatholm.
I now need to make my real position clear to all. I am not as immoderate as Ceredig and others appear to think, though I am certainly for real and have very definite views which I am prepared to defend to the death. It may appear to some (British nationalists and others) that my views are extreme, but you may have noted from my posting that I am very much in favour of bringing people together for the sake of Welsh unity and national cohesion as well as the regeneration of communities and the inculcation of Welsh community values. I do not seek to promote discord but I have to stand for the truth and the restoration of justice for Wales. You see, for nationalists it is Wales that comes first, above everything, and these people, Johnny included, who persist in attacking or scorning Welsh culture, language and traditions need to be put in their place, and shown that they in no way represent the fundamental ethos of Wales.
Ideological considerations are secondary to us (true patriots) and our eventual goal is independence and freedom. Take a boat ride to Ireland and you will see its fruits. What appears extreme to some now will appear quite the normal everyday condition to their children and grandchildren as they bask in the warmth of the new Wales (Cymru Fydd). Think about it.

  1. I have been reading this blog for its entertainment value. However, this is my last visit.

You have very unfriendly, extreme views. Your mythical Wales is not a place I would wish to inhabit.

I don't think there is any hope of people like you getting any real power in this country -certainly, I hope not - but if it ever happens, this will be a horrible, mean-spirited place to live.

  3. Both of you anons :
Absolute nonsense (and you know it)!
Be brave and reveal your identities.
    Stand up and be counted.

  4. I would like to say that too have been reading this blog and have found it to be enlightening and visionary.
Anyone who cant see this is either gealous or lack conviction.
    Keep up the great work.

  5. I do not like this Blog with your views. I am European, I speak Welsh, & I know many Welshmen who made a great contribution to Wales. Yes, your Wales is a mythical ones, ignoring the real problems. Hwyl!

  6. I too am a European. We all are in Wales, and look forward to the time when Wales takes its place as a European nation, not answerable to Britain.

  8. When have I talked of Europe as a nation? Europe is a community of nations as you very well know.
True, Britain and Europe are not nations.

    What IS your problem?

    ReplyDelete
  9. So you are happy for Wales to be part of the European superstate, but not part of Britain. Sounds suspiciously like hatred of the English, which is funny, because you ARE English. You're not Welsh at all.

  10. Johnny Foreigner go back to your blog and leave us in peace.
    You are not wanted here.

  11. Sorry Alan. Not guilty pal. I've already told you, I've been away for the weekend playing my Ukulele. No PC, no 'phone.

From the response to your blog, or lack of them, you may continue to enjoy your peace. You deserve it.

You seem to think that you can start a controversy and just end it because YOU say "it's time to move on." You are sadly mistaken. This matter has long 'legs', which will carry it far until such time as you retract your offending statement and apologise to the offended parties.

As I told a certain blogging MP who used offending statements in a blog, "It takes a big person to say that they were wrong".

    That lets you out then.

The offending blog was removed as the MP had recognised the wrong done and informed me personally that my notice of the offending words was entirely valid.

    You may still have time.

You have much to learn about Politics, Alan.

You may write as much of your Nationalist drivel as you like with your vague historical references about perceived wrongs in the past. Unfortunately for you, we stopped sending children down the mines years ago and learned from it.

In your twisted view I daresay that you would say that the profits from the mines now belong to the descendents of those children because of this wrong. Time to move on for you.

I have no need to use your blog anymore as I have my own and have been offered hospitality from numerous other blogs of varying political persuasions who are quite happy to host me.

It seems odd to be banned from your blog, and yet you seem to trail my postings and respond anyway. A clearly self defeating strategy if you ask me?

Naturally I don't expect publication here but I am quite prepared to cut and paste any of your more stupid statements and respond to them on these other blogs in my normal and inimitable manner.

You may have noticed from these other blogs that your blog has caused many outraged postings, not just mine.

It is quite significant that the only postings seeming to support you are from anonymous posters.

Other named bloggers seem to enjoy sensible and robust discourse, whether contentious or not.

So, bloggers like you, Ordo and Rhyddid, have now served your purpose and my work with you is done. Thanks for the help.

    Strategy, dear boy, strategy.

Can't you see that banning me has done the Nationalist cause much harm as it clearly shows that you seek to stifle free speech? Big mistake. Job done.

    Your pretty pleased pal.

    johnny.............Bye Bye.

  12. Is there a psychoanalyst in the house?

    ReplyDelete
  13. There's only one person who needs a psychoanalyst, mate, and that's you.

You have a deep-seated inferiority complex that has made you reject your own English kind and has caused you to attempt to embrace Welshness. Unfortunately, all we Welsh who visit this blog think you're a headbanger.

    ReplyDelete
  14. Obviously anon has not been reading my postings. I reject nobody!
I point out that Wales demands justice. Supercilious attitudes won't wash here.

    ReplyDelete
  15. OK, why as an Englishman are you so anxious to turn your back on your native land? Why not stay there?

    ReplyDelete
  16. Wales is the land of my fathers. I do not have to be born here. That is merely a matter of location. My allegiance to Wales is unquestionable. If you are JF please go back to your own blog. If you are not show your face.

    ReplyDelete
  17. No, you are just one of these English people who come here and feel you have to out-Welsh the Welsh. Can't speak the language, don't relate to the residents and want to impose your own weird semi-mystical ideas on us all. You want to tell us how we should live our lives. Well go back to England and get involved with Plaid Yorkshire or Rhyddid i Hertfordshire, but leave us all in peace.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Sorry to say, it's time you joined the real world, and 21st century Welsh politics. You belong to a past age. Perhaps you would leave US in peace.

    ReplyDelete
  19. Happy with Welsh politics, being Welsh, but you aren't Welsh, are you?

Now come on Alan, you know that's not true.

    You've rejected ME, a Welshman.

Further, you keep assuming that I have made anonymous postings here. I'm sorry Alan, I just haven't. I'm johnny foreigner and I don't need to be anonymous.

Whilst I daresay that this posting will be deleted, fear not, I will simply cut and paste it and put your comments and mine on my blog. That'll save you the trouble.

You won't shut me up with a ban, Alan.

So here's the burning issue of the day:

Am I banned, am I banned or am I banned?

    Your permanently pressing pal.

Just how many Welsh people need to be rejected before Alan reaches his goal?

You have to admit that people are staying away from your new posts Alan. Perhaps you should take onboard how much you have insulted everyone by your views.

  24. Funny you should say that, Al.

I have purchased a rather nifty electronic fly swatter, made by our Chinese friends.

It came in packaging that described it as a 'Fly and Nat-Buster'.

I had thought of sending it to you but that would have been just too cruel.

    Your pal johnny.

  29. I forgot : Foreigners don't understand English.

    ReplyDelete
  30. Could that be seen as a disparagingly racist remark?

This 'foreigner' has more than enough English to deal with an alleged English teacher like you.

Your propaedeutic pal. (Well worth loking up, Al, you may learn something).

  36. If this is the best that the Nationalist cause can come up with, then I'm a happy man.

Nothing but snide remarks, scorn and insults.

Not a single word of cogent argument or discourse.

Par for the course with Plaid, by the looks of it.

As you pair of Nationalists may or may not be aware, my questions, and your dismissal of them has caused a certain degree of thought and discussion on the blogmosphere.

As you will have noticed, Alan. Your blog is now a 'dead duck' and comments on your newest posts seem to be in short supply.

I am aware, Alan, that you are a press officer for Plaid and, as such, speak for them. If your rather bleak blog is supposed to endear people to Plaid, I think you have done great disservice to the Nationalist cause.

I know for a fact that parts of your more extreme views have been cut and pasted for future electoral use.

I am quite sure that many potential Plaid voters will be interested to know of your, and Plaid's, description of British soldiers as mercenary and will now be aware that you and Plaid support the exploitation of women by your clear support of prostitution.

Ordo's predictable and snide comments just show the level of intellect that provides them.

Keep up the good work boys.

    Your pal.

    johnny.

Actually I don't, not that I wouldn't like to, as long as they're not too fat

Not a single word of cogent argument or discourse

No wonder you feel at home here

Ordo's predictable and snide comments just show the level of intellect that provides them.

LOL. What do you want to be when you grow up, Johnny? A choo-choo driver?

    ;-)

  38. Ordo:

I was not responsible for the posting re: callgirls, of course you know that already don't you? Extreme tracker eh! Stats. by the bucket full.

If you wish to support the clear exploitation of women by their prostitution that is entirely your affair.

I'm afraid that your snide comments have a certain air of the playground about them.

If you wish to attempt to insult me, at least do it with a bit of style.

    Your placidly patient pal.

    johnny.

  39. I don't know what we would do without your comments, Johnny. You have swelled the comment box to 40 on this posting alone!

    ReplyDelete
  40. Without Johnny's comments perhaps you could close down the blog, Alan.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Only too happy to help, Alan.

Kindly consider it as my small contribution to the provision of some palliative care to a blog in terminal decline.

    Your palliative pal.

  42. What are your sidebar pictures and the "Take your Pick, Wales or the Union!" caption meant to convey?

Both show good-looking young women. Are you suggesting that the "Brits" are less attractive because one is black? If not, what are you suggesting?

And don't you think it's all rather sexist?

    ReplyDelete
  43. I cannot believe that you would say this?
The fact that one is black has nothing to do with it, and if you read my blog you will know I am neither racist nor sexist.
The whole point, which you missed, is the comparison between the flags of Wales and the Union.
    Naturally we prefer the Dragon.
    Your attitude beggars belief!

    ReplyDelete
  44. So why not simply show the flags? Why show them draped around young women?

There's a nasty, misogynistic and racist overtone to your blog, which is becoming increasingly evident. Just what is your problem?

    ReplyDelete
  45. I might say :"What is your problem?"
Do you make a habit of slandering innocent people? My blog is neither racist or sexist and you know it.
Come out and reveal your identity instead of hiding in anonymity.

    ReplyDelete
  46. You post gratuitously sexist photos of young women and yet won't explain why. Care to enlighten us?

And who is the unnamed bloke with the ginger beard?
