Owain Glyndwr - Doughty Freedom Fighter of Cymru

Today a bronze statue of Owain Glyndwr, the most famous Welsh freedom fighter and patriot, is to be unveiled at Corwen, his birthplace in Denbighshire. This is three days before Owain Glyndwr Day, September 16th, which should be declared a national holiday. Let us now step up the campaign for a national holiday on St David's Day and also on this special day to commemorate our greatest Welsh hero.

    Owain Glyndwr wasn't a Prince of Wales, He was in fact the King of Wales, and was crowned so. Simply put he was the greatest ever Welshman, even greater than Barry John and Gareth Edwards put together, well almost
